Copyright Infringement Policy for Rata.ng

Rata.Ng Online Marketplace ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our classified website, Rata.ng, to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed upon by content hosted on our platform, you can notify us under this policy.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you are the copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that content on Rata.ng infringes upon your copyrights, please submit a written notice with the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  2. Identification of the content on Rata.ng that you believe is infringing, including a URL or other specific location on the platform where the infringing material is found.
  3. Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information you have provided is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Response to Claims

Upon receiving a valid infringement notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
  • Notify the user responsible for the content, providing them an opportunity to submit a counter-notification if they believe their content was wrongfully removed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that the content you posted on Rata.ng was removed in error or is not infringing, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include the following:

  1. Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal.
  2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
  3. Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your country and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original infringement notice or their agent.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the removed content unless the original complainant files a lawsuit within a specified time.

Repeat Infringers

Rata.ng reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers under our Terms of Service.
